Dr. Jinal Mehta completed her undergraduate training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and minored in chemistry. She then completed her medical training at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where she initiated the Save A Leg, Save A Life Chapter as part of a national wound care organization. During her time in school Dr. Mehta traveled for a medical mission as part of the Liga International Flying Doctors of Mercy and served those in need in the rural area of Sinaloa, Mexico. Dr. Mehta then went on to an extensive three-year reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgical residency training at the prestigious Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY & the North Shore (Northwell) University Hospital, Manhasset, NY. After completing her training, she joined a private practice in Long Island, NY and continued to teach residents at both the hospitals. She also served on the Nassau County Podiatry Association’s youth members committee during her time in New York. Dr. Mehta joined Accent Podiatry Associates after moving to Texas to be close to her family. Dr. Mehta is a licensed podiatric physician and surgeon who offers comprehensive foot care to children, adults and seniors and is well versed in all areas of Podiatric care including but not limited to trauma, elective reconstruction and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Mehta is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati and English and loves to treat her patients as if they were family. Outside of practicing podiatry, she enjoys reading, designing and spending time with her husband.
